Cutest Baby Animals In The World Definition

Source(google.com.pk)
Before the actual list, there are three things that I need to say. From among the hundreds of animals I checked out, I have chosen only those animals of which even the adults are cute. The reason for this is that pretty much all baby animals of most of the species are cute. The list below is subjective, this is my personal opinion. The animals listed are not in order of cuteness, except for the first five, which I find the cutest, in that order These baby animals have two things in common - they are all incredibly cute and they are the future of some of the world’s most endangered species.

While Indah the Sumatran tiger doesn't seem to have a care in the world playing in a measuring jug in Cameron Park Zoo, Texas, the species is just clinging on with around 500 left in the wild.

The same cannot be said for her Indonesian cousins - both the Bali tiger and Java tiger are now extinct.rom Siku the Polar Bear cub in Denmark’s Scandinavian Wildlife Park to Prince Harry, the pygmy hippo born in the Cango Wildlife Ranch, South Africa, the photos melt the heart - but their kind are all endangered.
Despite being spread around the world, all the cute critters feature in Zooborns - The Next Generation, a new book which aims to help fund conservation.
Founded just four years ago, the ZooBorns website features pictures of animals born in zoos, from the instantly cute to those that only a mother could love.
They now host pictures from more than 200 zoos and wildlife parks including ones close to home such as London Zoo, Banham Zoo, Belfast Zoo, Chester Zoo, Dublin Zoo, Linton Zoo, Marwell Wildlife Park, Paignton Zoo and Twycross Zoo Founded by artist Chris Eastland and self-confessed 'lifelong animal-nerd' Andrew Bleiman, the site gets more than a million visitors a month.
Mr Bleiman said: 'ZooBorns showcases the newest, cutest baby animals born at accredited zoos and aquariums as ambassadors for their species in the wild. We aim to educate while we entertain.
'No one wakes up in the morning and says "I want to visit a zoo to learn about conservation".
'But after their zoo visit, they probably know more and care more about how to protect these species in the wild and what the zoo is doing to help The book features Siku the Polar Bear cub from Denmark’s Scandinavian Wildlife Park on the cover.
And while the animals may make us all go weak at the knees a look at how they would fare outside of captivity shows a stark reality.
While Nakai the Northern White-cheeked Gibbon lives happily in Perth Zoo her species is critically endangered. The world’s only viable breeding population of 455 live in northern Vietnam, near the border with Laos The Matschies Tree Kangaroos Yawan and her mother Alanna were pictured in the Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle. They come from an endangered species which is native only to north eastern Papua New Guinea.
Hakaba is a Somali Wild Ass bred in Zoo Basel Switzerland. The species is critically endangered with only a few hundred known to live in the wild in Ethiopia and Eritrea.
Their numbers in war-torn Somalia are not known The pygmy hippo is a rare nocturnal hippo living in the forests of Liberia with small populations in Sierra Leone, Guinea and Ivory Coast. There are only 3,000 in the wild.
Despite being endangered and shy outside of captivity, Prince Harry, born in the Cango Wildlife Ranch, South Africa is happy to give his keeper a kiss.
Also featured in the book are Cai and Nam, the Slow Loris native to southeast Asia which were born at Moody Gardens in Texas, an endangered baby Panda from Chengdu Panda Base in China and Kasi the cheetah, a vulnerable listed species, who lives in Busch Gardens, Florida.
Andrew added: 'While most folks visit the website or buy the ZooBorns’ books for the incredibly cute photos, ZooBorns aims to educate while they entertain, building awareness and support for related conservation initiatives.Though they grow up to be decidedly un-cuddly, baby porcupines are comparatively soft. This baby girl prehensile-tailed porcupine was born in April 2005 at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C.As the babies grow to adult size over about a year, they gradually losetheir red hair and grow stiff, sharp spines. These creatures are rodents native to Central and South America. Their tails ("prehensile" means adapted for grasping or holding) act as fifth limbs to help grab branches while climbing.
